A timber crusher capable of sufficiently displaying an effect of preventing timber pieces from spattering to the outside and also preventing the crusher from getting damaged, comprising, on a base, a crusher crushing timber into pieces and a rotary tab leading the timber to the crusher, wherein a hopper (5) having an upwardly open shell part (5b) and leading the charged timber to the rotary tab (3) is provided at the opening part of the rotary tab (3), the hopper (5) is inclined relative to the horizontal and installed free to incline, and a scattering prevention cover (7) to prevent timber from scattering from the inside of the rotary tab (3) to the outside may be installed on the hopper (5).
