Abstract:
This gear device which drivingly couples a drive shaft to first and second axles comprises: a case that is geared with the drive shaft and that rotates about the shaft; a hub that is connectable to the first axle; a clutch member that engages with the case and meshes with the hub in a disengageable manner; a biasing means for holding the clutch member in a position where the clutch member meshes with the hub; and a differential gear set that gears the case with the first and second axles, the differential between the first axle and the second axle being locked by the clutch member.
