Abstract:
[Problem] To select an optimum transmission path minimizing the total of MTIE values between a plurality of master devices that transmit time information serving as a reference and a specific relay device that receives the time information via a plurality of relay devices and achieves time synchronization. [Solution] A time path selection device 30 selects, between master devices 11, 12 that transmit reference time information and an edge relay device 15 or 16 that receives the time information via a relay device 13 or 14 and achieves time synchronization, a transmission path used for the time synchronization on the basis of MTIE values found by the relay devices 13-16. The time path selection device 30 is provided with: a time information reception unit 31 that receives the MTIE values found by the relay devices 13-16; and an optimum path derivation unit 33 that finds a total MTIE value of each transmission path in the respective transmission paths between the relay device 15 and the master devices 11, 12, selects a transmission path having a minimum total MTIE value (170 ns), and derives the selected transmission path as the transmission path used for the time synchronization.
