Abstract:
[Problem] To enhance the quality of time information by suppressing time skipping that occurs during switching of transmission paths in a BC apparatus in which transmission paths for time information of at least two systems are connected to an input side. [Solution] A time synchronization device 20 is built into a BC apparatus 12c in which at least two systems, including a 0 system route (0 system) and a 1 system route (1 system), are connected to an input side, the time synchronization device 20 being provided with a time correction value retaining unit 26 that retains a 0 system correction value for which the time error of a result of a UTC being delayed due to performance unique to the BC apparatus has the same value as a time error accumulated on the 0-system side, and a 1 system correction value for which said time error has the same value as a time error accumulated on the 1-system side. Furthermore, the time synchronization device is provided with: a fault restoration detection unit 23 that detects a fault in the 0 system or the 1 system; a time counting unit 24 that, when a fault has been detected in the 0 system, performs a correction by subtracting the 1 system correction value pertaining to a normal 1 system from a UTC having a time error accumulated on the normal 1-system side; and a path switching unit 25 that, during detection of a fault, switches to the normal 1-system side so that the corrected UTC is transmitted.
