Abstract:
Provided are a time synchronization method, device and system, which relate to the field of communications. The method comprises: receiving a switching request sent by a source base station and used for requesting for time synchronization with the target base station; and sending switching request confirmation information to the source base station, wherein the switching request confirmation information comprises information for indicating whether the source base station performs time synchronization with the target base station. In the present invention, a source base station can determine, according to switching request confirmation information sent by the target base station, whether time synchronization needs to be performed with a target base station, thereby enriching the content of the switching request confirmation information sent by the target base station, and improving the flexibility for the source base station to perform time synchronization with the target base station during a switching process.
