Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a time synchronization method whereby local times between sensors can be synchronized relative to each other without being affected by delay even in low-speed lines. [Solution] A time synchronization method in a measurement system in which a first measurement device provided with a CPU, a storage means, a first sensor, and a first clock, and a second measurement device provided with a CPU, a storage means, a second sensor, and a second clock, are connected via a network, the time synchronization method including a step (S1) for identifying each of waveforms indicating a time shift in a physical quantity among sensors from a measurement value of the first sensor and a measurement value of the second sensor, a step (S2) for comparing characteristic portions of each identified waveform and calculating a local time lag of the second clock with respect to the local time of the first clock, and a step (S3) for subtracting the calculated local time lag from the local time of the second clock and synchronizing the local time of the second clock with the local time of the first clock.
