Abstract:
A timer (200) is provided with a relay unit (20) that switches between supplying a signal or power to a load; and a control unit (10) that is operated by power from an AC power source (50), and turns the relay unit (20) on and off. The relay unit (20) has a half-wave rectifier circuit (D1) that performs half-wave rectification on an AC current from the AC power source (50); an AC relay (100) into which a pulsating current, on which half-wave rectification has been performed by the half-wave rectifier circuit (D1), in inputted; and a switch circuit (TR1) that turns the pulsating current inputted into the AC relay (100) on and off. A control unit (10) outputs a drive signal to the switch circuit (TR1) in order to perform PWM control of the AC relay (100) in a period in which a signal or power is supplied to a load.
