Abstract:
Provided is a timing generator for outputting a timing signal obtained by delaying input signal, which comprises a first period delay section and a second period delay section for outputting rate signals obtained by delaying the input signals by the amount of delay matched to an integral multiple of a given period of an operation clock, respectively, a first highly accurate delay section for outputting the timing signal obtained by delaying the inputted signal by the amount of delay less than the period of the operation clock, and a mode switching section for switching between whether the first highly accurate delay section operates in a slow mode in which the rate signal outputted by the first period delay section is inputted or whether the first highly accurate delay section operates in a fast mode in which the signal obtained by interleaving the rate signal outputted by the first period delay section and the rate signal outputted by the second period delay section is inputted. Also provided is a tester using the timing generator.
