Abstract:

The tipped circular saw blade (1) has a disk-shaped base metal (2) and tips (4) joined to the base metal (2) so as to radially project from the outer periphery of the base metal (2). The circular saw blade (1) has an outer diameter of 280mm-500mm, and the tips (4) have a blade thickness of 0.8mm-1.1mm. Each tip (4) has a flank face (4a) facing radially outward, a side face (4b) positioned on one of thickness-direction ends of the flank face (4a), and a chamfer (4c) formed between the flank face (4a) and the side face (4b) and having a chamfer angle (θ) with respect to the flank face (4a). In addition, each tip (4) has a cutting edge (4d) positioned on one circumferential end of the flank face (4a) and used for cutting a workpiece and a groove (4f) formed on the flank face (4a) so as to circumferentially extend from the cutting edge (4d). The groove (4f) has a width of 0.20mm-0.30mm.
