Abstract:
This tire-abrading device (1), which abrades the surface of a tire (T), is provided with the following: a grindstone-holding part (40) that holds a grindstone (41) that abrades the surface of the tire (T); a cover (50) that covers the grindstone (41) held by the grindstone-holding part (40) and is positioned such that a gap (S) is formed between said cover (50) and the surface of the tire (T); and a gas-layer-forming part (60) that forms a gas layer that prevents grinding dust from the abraded tire (T) from being ejected through the gap (S) formed between the edge of the cover (50) and the surface of the tire (T).
