Abstract:
Through the present invention, fluctuation in air pressure occurring during tire testing is suppressed, and tire uniformity is measured at low cost and with good precision. This tire air filling mechanism (1) for a tire testing device (2) is provided with an air supply source (6) for supplying air to the inside of a tire (T), the tire (T) being mounted between a pair of rims (5U, 5D) attached to distal ends of tire shafts (4U, 4D), and the tire air filling mechanism (1) is configured so that the jetting direction of air supplied into the tire (T) from the air supply source (6) is inclined with respect to the radial direction, and the air supplied from the air supply source (6) is thereby caused to turn inside the tire (T).
