Abstract:
No work is required to adjust the internal width of anti-skid bodies in an inlay-type anti-skid device. The anti-skid device inlays anti-skid bodies having a U-shaped cross-section into a vehicle tire and arranges and connects a plurality of the anti-skid bodies in the peripheral direction of the tire. The anti-skid bodies have a contact member that comes in contact with the tire outside surface disposed in the outside section thereof and a contact member that comes in contact with the tire inside surface disposed in the inside section thereof. A shaft (7) is attached to the outside section or the inside section of the anti-skid bodies, along the axial center direction of the tire (T). The shaft is attached so as to be movable forward and backwards along the axial center direction of the tire. Contact members (6) are disposed on an inside ends of the shaft. Elastic members (9) providing forward propulsion are disposed on the shaft having contact members attached thereto. The contact members are pushed to the outside surface or the inside surface of the tire by the elastic force of the elastic members. When the outside surface or the inside surface of the tire moves to the opposite side to the contact members, the contact members move forward due to the elastic force of the elastic members. When the outside surface or the inside surface of the tire moves to the contact member side, the contact members move backward in resistance to the elastic force of the elastic members.
