Abstract:
A tire for a construction machine, provided with a belt which comprises layers provided on the outside radially of the crown of the carcass which toroidally extends between a pair of beads, wherein the radially outermost belt layer of the belt has a width which is greater than or equal to 50% of the width of the tread and wherein the tire is provided with narrow grooves each configured in such a manner that, when the thickness of the tread measured at the position of an end of the outermost belt layer is T, the distance between the end of the outermost belt layer and the bottom of the narrow groove is within the range from 15% to 100% of the thickness (T) of the tread.
