Abstract:
This tire holding device (10) comprises: a lower rim (110) capable of supporting one side of a tire (TR), in the width direction (Dw); an upper rim (120) capable of supporting the other side of the tire (TR) in the width direction (Dw); a lifter (150) that brings the upper rim (120) closer to and away from the lower rim (110) and sandwiches the tire (TR) from both sides in the width direction (Dw), using the lower rim (110) and the upper rim (120); a holding shaft (130) provided in the lower rim (110), protruding towards the upper rim (120), and comprising a plurality of engagement sections in the outer circumference thereof, along the axial direction (Da); an engagement unit (140) that is provided in the upper rim (120), can engage with an engagement section so as to perform positioning in the axial direction (Da), and is movable between an engagement position at which same is engaged with an engagement section and a retracted position at which same is retracted in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction (Da); and a clamp drive unit (160) that moves the engagement unit (140) to the engagement position and the retracted position.
