Abstract:
This tire load predicting system is provided with: a sensor unit SU including a strain sensor SN for detecting the strain on a tire; a strain data acquiring portion 202 for acquiring strain data in a tire tangential direction; a linear transformation portion 251 for performing a linear transformation of the strain data; a first estimating portion 252 for estimating a velocity and an angular velocity in the tire tangential direction on the basis of the transformation result; a second estimating portion 253 for estimating a velocity in the tire radial direction from the values of the velocity and the angular velocity in the tire tangential direction; a third estimating portion 254 for estimating a velocity in a θ angle direction from the values of acceleration and angular velocity in the tire tangential direction; a fourth estimating portion 255 for estimating flexing of the tire on the basis of the velocity and angular velocity in the tire tangential direction, the velocity in the tire radial direction, and the velocity in the θ angle direction; and a load predicting portion 256 for predicting the load applied to the tire on the basis of the tire flexing.
