Abstract:
In order to improve the durability of a stiffener including hard and soft rubbers disposed radially inside and outside which are formed by layering rubber strips, a tire (1) is provided with: a bead core (2); a stiffener (3) disposed on an outer circumference of the bead core (2); and a carcass ply (4). An end portion (4A) of the carcass ply (4) is disposed on the stiffener (3). The stiffener (3) includes a radially inside inner rubber (3A), a radially outside outer rubber (3B), and a cover tape (3C). The inner rubber (3A) is formed by layering first rubber strips (R1). The outer rubber (3B) is formed by layering second rubber strips (R2). The second rubber strips (R2) are made of rubber with smaller hardness than the inner rubber (3A). The cover tape (3C) covers a portion of the stiffener (3) where the end portion (4A) of the carcass ply (4) adjoins the stiffener (3).
