Abstract:
Provided is a technique for reducing the frequency of occurrence of a groove crack in every tire having a helically wound circumferential reinforcement layer. A tire is provided with a circumferential reinforcement layer which is formed by helically winding two rubber strips in the same direction from different positions in the width direction of the tire. Rubber strips (12A, 12B) are arranged partially or entirely in the width direction of the tire with a gap therebetween. Of the ends of the two rubber strips, two center ends (12Bs, 12Ae) which are located at least on the tire equator surface side are arranged at positions at which, in the width direction of the tire, the two center ends (12Bs, 12Ae) completely overlap rib-like lands (2a). If the width of each rib-like land (2a) which, in the width direction of the tire, overlaps the corresponding center end is W, and the width of the rubber strips is G, the relationship of G < W is satisfied.
