Abstract:
A tire pressure monitoring device and a locking method. The device comprises a housing (10) as well as a sensor unit (20), an RF transmitting unit (30), a low frequency (LF) receiving unit (40), a storage unit (50), and a processor (60). The sensor unit (20), the storage unit (50), the RF transmitting unit (30), and the LF receiving unit (40) are all connected to the processor (60). The processor (60) is used for obtaining the communication format and operation mode of RF and LF of a preset vehicle model from the storage unit (50) according a target encoding program, activating the communication format and operation mode of the RF and LF of the preset vehicle model, transmitting, by the RF transmitting unit (30), a signal that the encoding program is completed to execute an obtained LF locking program, and transmitting, by the RF transmitting unit (30), a signal that locking is completed. The tire pressure monitoring device and the locking method is applicable to the requirements for tire pressure monitoring devices of different vehicle models.
