Abstract:
The present invention is characterized in that: in regions on both sides of the tread surface of a tire, the regions having the tire equator as a boundary, a grip region is provided along the entire circumference of the tread, the grip region being such that a plurality of recessed stripes are arrayed in parallel, the plurality of recessed stripes extending in an inclining orientation in relation to the tire equator from the tread-end side in a shape that is concave toward the inner side of the tire from the wheel contour line of the tread surface; the tire has a plurality of sipes that extend, with the grip region as a starting end, toward the tire equator in an inclining orientation in relation to the tire equator, the plurality of sipes ending at the near side of the tire equator; and the negative ratio in the grip region is higher than the negative ratio closer to the tire-equator side than the grip region.
