Abstract:
Disclosed is a tire sorting device capable of reliably reading information about a tire identification display body such as a bar-code, which is formed on the surface of a tire without damaging the tire. Hence, a tire grip means (20) which is provided with three grip arms (24a to 24c) which are circularly arranged in-plane perpendicular to the central axis of a tire (T) and with a link mechanism for widening the grip arms (24a to 24c) is arranged under a mounting table (40) on which the tire is mounted, a bar-code reader rotating means (33) for rotating a bar-code reader (31) held by a bar-code reader holding means (32) is provided above the mounting table (40), and the rotational axis of the bar-code reader (31) and the center of the circle formed by the grip arms (24a to 24c) of the tire grip means (20) are set on the same line.
