Title:
TIRE SURFACE ABRASION DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/086242
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tire surface abrasion device which can perform abrasion while checking abrasion position and amount visually, and can perform appropriate abrasion even on a complicated tire surface. As shown in Fig. 2, the tire surface abrasion device comprises a means (10) for rotating a tire, an abrasion belt means (20) for abrading the grounding surface of the tire, a belt drive means (30), and a means (40) for attaching/separating the abrasion belt means (20) to/from the tire. The abrasion belt means (20) can abrade the corner of the tire by turning thereat. The abrasion belt means (20) has an endless stripe abrasion belt. The belt drive means (30) is coupled with a base substrate (44) urging the abrasion belt toward the tire abrasion surface rotatably in the horizontal direction. Links (41, 42) for driving the base substrate (44) are operated through a handle (51). The handle (51) and the abrasion belt means (20) move in the same direction.
