Abstract:
This tire valve identification (ID) registration system (17) comprises: multiple tire valves (4) that respectively transmit a radio wave (Sva) including a valve ID at given transmission intervals; and a receiver (12) that, upon receiving the radio waves transmitted from the respective tires, registers the valve IDs. Each tire valve generates vehicle state information, which indicates whether the vehicle is in a traveling state or in a stopped state, and transmits a radio wave within a fixed period of time that is shorter than the transmission interval when the vehicle state information has changed. The receiver includes: a state determination unit (19) that determines whether the vehicle is in the traveling state or in the stopped state on the basis of vehicle speed information (Sv); a validity determination unit (21) that determines whether or not an obtained valve ID is a valve ID of the host vehicle by checking whether or not a radio wave is received within the fixed period of time after the determination result by the state determination unit has changed; and an ID registration unit (22) that registers the valve IDs of the respective tire valves on the basis of the determination results by the state determination unit.
