Title:
TIRE VULCANIZATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/029726
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a tire vulcanization device capable of suppressing vulcanization mold defects, and capable of positioning sectors in a prescribed location when closing the mold. To this end, a tire vulcanization device is equipped with sectors for molding a tire tread section, a pair of upper and lower side plates for molding a tire sidewall section, a segment which moves the sectors in the radial direction of the tire and to which the sectors are affixed, and mold-splitting surfaces located between the sectors and each of the side plates. The mold-splitting surfaces extend outward in the radial direction of the tire from mold inside end sections, and are positioned in a manner such that the mold inside end sections are located on the tread section. The sectors are provided with a pair of upper and lower flange sections that project from the mold-splitting surfaces, and the pair of upper and lower flange sections contact the pair of upper and lower side plates while the sectors which are adjacent to one another in the tire circumferential direction are tightly adhered to one another.
