Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tire and wheel assembly which has appropriately low vertical rigidity and an appropriate ground contact area, in which force in the circumferential direction is satisfactorily transmitted, and which is suitable for an in-wheel motor system. A tire and wheel assembly (10) includes a cylindrical annular structure (11), a rubber material layer (14) which is provided on the outer periphery of the annular structure (11) so as to extend in the circumferential direction thereof, and curved metallic spring members (13) which are disposed between the annular structure (11) and an electric motor (20) disposed inside the annular structure (11) and which transmit the rotation of the rotor (20R) of the electric motor (20) to the annular structure (11).
