Abstract:

A tire (10) having a decoration region (2) arranged on the surface (1) of at least one of a pair of sidewalls and consisting of a pattern portion (3) and an emblem portion (4) in which a degree of freedom in arrangement of the emblem is enhanced markedly and visibility of the emblem can be improved significantly relative to the pattern. Pattern of the pattern portion (3) is constituted of a first ridge group (15A) consisting of ridges (5A) extending in parallel to each other, and a second ridge group (15B) consisting of ridges (5B) extending in parallel to each other in the direction different from that of the ridges (5A). Emblem of the emblem portion (4) is constituted of a plane parallel with the sidewall surface (1) or by combining a plurality of these planes, wherein the maximum height of the emblem portion (4) with respect to the sidewall surface level is set higher than the maximum height of the pattern portion (3).
