Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tire having a tread in which foamed rubber is applied, the tire providing excellent general on-ice performance including tire braking performance on an icy road surface and drive performance stably from the start of use of the tire. The tread of the tire includes a surface rubber layer forming at least a ground-contact surface of the tread, and an inner rubber layer comprising foamed rubber adjacent to the inside of the surface rubber layer in a tire radial direction, and is characterized in that the surface rubber layer has a rubber modulus of elasticity (Ms) smaller than a rubber modulus of elasticity (Mi) of the inner rubber layer.
