Abstract:
This tire has a plurality of sipes arranged on the treading surface of the tread of the tire, the sipes being located at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction of the tread, the sipes extending in the rotational direction of the tire from the tread ends toward the equator of the tire. The sipes arranged on the tread end side are each shaped so that, if a plane which extends from the opening of the sipe in the radial direction of the tire such that the plane corresponds to the shape of the opening is defined as a reference plane, the sipe has: an extension section extending from the opening in the radial direction of the tire along the reference plane; and a protrusion which protrudes from the reference plane in the rotational direction of the tire, bends, and returns to the reference plane.
