Title:
TIRE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/183579
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention provides a tire configured so that, when the tire uses a tread pattern in which blocks each having a relatively small ground contact area are densely arranged, the tire can exhibit sufficient on-ice performance even in a state in which braking force or driving force greater than or equal to a specific level is generated. This pneumatic tire (10) has, in a view of the tread surface, a plurality of blocks (100) arranged adjacent to each other and having tread surfaces coming in contact with a road surface. A peripheral edge (100f) of each of the blocks (100) is separated by a sipe (200) from a block (100B) adjacent to a block (100A). An inner groove (400) is formed inside the sipe (200) in the radial direction of the tire. At least a part of the inner groove (400) is in communication with the sipe (200), and the peripheral edge (100f) of the block (100A) is separated from the block (100B) by the inner groove (400).
