A tire having, on the tread surface, at least one circumference-direction groove extending so as to be continuous in the tire circumference direction, and a shoulder land part demarcated by the circumference-direction groove on the outermost side in the tire width direction, and the tread ground contact end, wherein: the shoulder land part has a width-direction groove extending in the tire width direction and communicating between the circumference-direction groove and the tread ground contact end; the width-direction groove comprises a first width-direction groove portion that communicates with the circumference-direction groove, and a second width-direction groove portion that is adjacent to and is connected to the tread ground contact end side of the first width-direction groove portion; the first width-direction groove portion has a constricted groove portion in which the opening width on the tread surface is smaller than the groove width on the groove bottom side, in at least a region in the extension direction of the first width-direction groove portion; and the groove width of each of the circumference-direction groove, the first width-direction groove portion, and the second width-direction groove portion satisfies the relational expression "groove width of circumference-direction groove > groove width of first width-direction groove portion > groove width of second width-direction groove portion."
