Abstract:
Provided is a tire in which it is possible to improve performance on ice and snow and steering stability on dry roads in a well-balanced manner. The present invention provides a tire in which a vulcanized rubber composition sampled radially inward from the tread inner surface, which is exposed by cutting 3 mm of the tread surface radially inward, is such that a change ratio (ΔSv) of the area of the tread inner surface occupied by recesses before and after the following immersion conditions satisfies formula (I). Formula (I): ΔSv ≥ 5% (Immersion conditions) The vulcanized rubber composition is immersed for three hours in 1000 mL of water kept at 25°C so that the entire vulcanized rubber composition is immersed.
