Abstract:
Provided is a tire including a tread, wherein the tread includes grooves inclined in a tire circumferential direction or a tire width direction, and the tread includes at least one layer of a rubber layer made from a rubber composition containing a rubber component. When an atomic force microscope provided with a probe having a tip radius of 20 nm is used to scan a 5 μｍ square of a surface of the rubber composition at 0°C and 23°C, Van der Waals force acting between the probe and each of 64 points equally spaced on each side of the square is respectively measured, an average value of values of the square of the Van der Waals force measured at each point and a standard deviation of the values of the square of the Van der Waals force measured at each point are each calculated, a ratio of the standard deviation of the values of the square of the Van der Waals force to the average value of the values of the square of the Van der Waals force at 0°C is CV0, and a ratio of the standard deviation of the values of the square of the Van der Waals force to the average value of the values of the square of the Van der Waals force at 23°C is CV23, CV0 / CV23 is 2.0 or greater.
