Abstract:
This pneumatic tire (10) is provided with a tread (40) which contacts the road surface, and a pair of inclined belts (61, 63) where the cords cross. The volume of the grooves formed in the tread (40) to the outside of the tire equator line (CL) when the pneumatic tire (10) is mounted on the vehicle is less than the volume of the grooves formed in the tread (40) to the inside of the tire equator line (CL) when the tire is mounted on the vehicle, and between the inclined belts (61, 63) and the tread (40), a reinforcement belt (70) is provided which extends along the tire width direction and the tire radial direction and which covers the multiple covered cords arranged spaced a prescribed distance apart. The reinforcement belt (70) is provided from the outside when the tire is mounted on the vehicle across towards the inside.
