Abstract:
A tissue adhesive of the type in which an adhesive component comprising an aqueous solution of a fish-derived gelatin is mixed with a hardening component comprising an aqueous solution of water-soluble crosslinking molecules and the mixture is applied to a tissue, wherein the main chain of the water-soluble crosslinking molecules has not only an amide bond, ethylene glycol unit, or sugar chain but also two or more active ester, acid anhydride, or aldehyde groups.
