Title:
TISSUE MAPPING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/198620
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A tissue mapping method comprising: a section division step (SA1) for dividing a section of a biological tissue into a plurality of fragments; a gene analysis step (SA2) for molecular biologically analyzing a plurality of genes contained in each fragment; a feature amount calculation step (SA3) for calculating feature amounts from the analysis results on the individual genes and thus acquiring a plurality of feature amounts for each fragment; a fragment classification step (SA4) for classifying the fragments into one or more groups on the basis of the similarity among feature amounts thereof; and a tissue mapping step (SA5) for setting display modes for the respective groups, said display modes differing from each other, and preparing a tissue map wherein the position of each fragment and a region corresponding thereto in the section are displayed in a display mode assigned to the group to which the fragment belongs.
