Abstract:
Disclosed is an absorbent tissue paper with softness and smoothness equal to or higher than conventional moisturized tissue papers but with less stickiness during use. Also disclosed is a tissue paper that is not easily torn even after the paper sucks water. A two-ply tissue paper has surfaces to which chemical solution is applied such that the amount of chemicals contained in both the surfaces is 1.4 to 4.5 g/m2 and such that the amount of chemicals contained in one of two sheets that constitute the two-ply paper is 0.67 to 1.5 times the amount of chemicals contained in the other sheet. The content of oil components contained in the chemicals is less than 7.0 percent by mass, and the content of silicones is less than 0.1 percent by mass.
