Provided is a tissue regeneration construct which has excellent engrafting properties and enables the promotion of good regeneration at a site of interest stably. A tissue regeneration construct which is a member to be applied to a target site for transplantation/regeneration to allow a tissue to be regenerated at the site, and comprises a transplant body and an engrafting layer that is so arranged as to overlay on at least a part of the outer surface of the transplant body, wherein the transplant body comprises a support, a cell for regenerating a tissue and a base for holding the cell, the cell is arranged in a space formed between the support and another support and/or a space that is a void formed inside the support, and the engrafting layer has a base having a gel-like form and has no support.
