Abstract:
Provided is a titanium material that has a predetermined chemical composition, and at least partially includes an α phase and a β phase as metallic structures. An average of the major axis lengths of elliptic approximations of the α phase is between 20 and 80 µm both inclusive. An average of the aspect ratios of the α phase is between 3.0 and 5.0 both inclusive. An impact value CIS obtained by dividing an impact absorbing energy obtained by the Charpy test at 25°C by the cross-sectional area of a test piece is 40 J/cm2 or greater. A tensile strength TS is 900 MPa or greater. The impact value CIS and the tensile strength TS satisfy 0.3 × TS + CIS ≥ 340.
