Abstract:
Provided are a titanium diboride/boron carbide composite electrode, a preparation method therefor and a use thereof, wherein the titanium diboride/boron carbide composite electrode comprises a substrate and a composite coating provided on the substrate, and the composite coating comprises titanium diboride and boron carbide. A titanium diboride coating can effectively improve the electrical conductivity of the composite coating; in addition, the incorporation of boron carbide can effectively improve the catalytic activity of the composite coating. Therefore, the titanium diboride/boron carbide composite electrode can effectively improve electrical conductivity and catalytic activity, and greatly improve the yield of ammonia gas produced by the electrocatalytic reduction of nitrogen. Also provided is a method for preparing the titanium diboride/boron carbide composite electrode, wherein a titanium diboride/boron carbide composite electrode with an excellent catalytic performance can be prepared by means of a simple process, preparation steps are simplified and the cost is reduced. Also provided is the use of the titanium diboride/boron carbide composite electrode in the electrocatalytic reduction of nitrogen.
