Abstract:
A process for the preparation of optically active cyano compounds, which includes a step of reacting an α,β-unsaturated compound having a prescribed structure with a cyanating agent in the presence of a titanium-containing catalyst that has been prepared by mixing an optically active imine compound having a prescribed structure with a reaction product of water and a titanium compound having a prescribed structure.
