Abstract:

A titanium material having a coating layer at its surface, comprising a titanium material having its surface provided with an oxide coating so as to exhibit an interference color of the oxide coating, the titanium material further provided with a transparent coating layer under such conditions that the thickness of oxide coating is in the range of 150 to 600 nm, or that the interference color of oxide coating results from both the actions of wavelength intensified by interference and wavelength weakened by interference and complementary hues of color attributed to wavelength intensified by interference and color attributed to wavelength weakened by interference are those as close as 90° or less in terms of hue circle, or that the brightness of titanium material is 33 or higher in terms of L* value of L*a*b* colorimetric system, to thereby attain remaining of the interference color even in the formation of transparent coating layer at the surface. Further, there is provided a laminated glass comprising two or more glass plates bonded together by means of an adherent layer. A laminated glass of superior design is obtained by interposing at least a plate of the above titanium material between glass plates by means of an adherent layer.
