Abstract:
Provided are: a titanium oxide particle-metal particle composition having a higher photocatalytic activity, in particular, visible light activity, as compared with a conventional counterpart; and a manufacturing method therefor. The present invention provides a titanium oxide particle-metal particle composition containing two types of particles, namely, i) titanium oxide particles, in which tin components and transition metal components for increasing the visible light activity are dissolved, iron components and silicon components are not dissolved, and surfaces thereof are modified by the iron components and the silicon components, and ii) metal particles containing an antibacterial metal.
