Abstract:
A titanium substrate according to the present invention has a substrate body (11) formed of titanium or a titanium alloy, and has, on the surface of the substrate body (11), a Magneli-phase titanium oxide film (16) formed of a Magneli-phase titanium oxide represented by chemical formula TinO2n-1 (4≤n≤10). The Magneli-phase titanium oxide film (16) has a BET value of more than 0.1 m2/g, has a porous structure, and has a phosphorus element content of 0.1 at% or less.
