Title:
TOE THIMBLE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/057090
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
This invention is concerned with socks technology and mycology. The fungus of Tinea (athlete’s foot) can proliferate at habitat of 20 °C above of temperature and 70 % above of humidity. The sweat trapped between and the friction heat between toes of foot can make its favorite habitat easily. This problem could be solved wearing Toe socks selling already. But they are expensive and do not have variability enough to present favorite fashion. This invention is toe thimble with ventilating like structure of finger stall. We could enjoy uniqueness of toe socks and present any fashion, the way to insert our toe or toes into toe thimble, this invention and next wear common socks.

AMENDED CLAIMS [received by the International Bureau on 07 September 2004 (07.09. 2004); original claim 3 added; remaining claims unchanged (1 page) ] + STATEMENT CLAIMS
1. Toe thimble made of ventilating textile and adhesive pad as shown in Fig.
2. l, like finger stall structurely to dehumidify the gap between toes so that fungi of athlete's foot could not parasitize.
3. It is very tedious that all ten toes are forced to wear each toe thimbles. In this case we could wear"toe inner socks"as shown in Fig. 3, which is assembled the way to connect five toe thimbles to one end of flexible plane (303) at other end which ankle band (304) is attached so that they could not be stripped from toes.
4. 3 Sleeping Toe stall which is one discovery of Usage of Claim 1 and Claim 2 and has structure which is more complex than claim 1 and less than claim 2, that is, it is modified claim 2 which three toe thimbles (first, third and fifth) is removed. and has many degree of freedom, thickness, etc.. STATEMENT UNDER PCT ARTICLE 19 Claims 1 and Clami2 is the same as originally filed. Claim 3 was added. Claim3 is based on new hyphothesis which I had established and should prove in the future. that is, fungi of athelte's foot could be seeded easily sleeping due to reduced blood flow. Claim 3 had been registered as KR Reg. No. 1020040060990 at KIPO on 2 August 2004 (02.08. 2004)..
Description:
TOE THIMBLE TECHNICAL FIELD This invention is concerned with textile technology to make toe thimble to give tiny air ways between toes like finger stall structurely.

BACKGROUND ART The fungi which cause of Tinea (athlete's foot) and is consisted of Trichophyton rubium and Trichophyton mentagrophytes and Epidemophytonfloccosum, is proliferated at 20 °C above of temperature and 70 % above of humidity.

The gaps between toes are kept air tight due to be sealed up by two skins so that beads of sweat could not escape from and is heated up by friction and fungi can meet above condition easy.

This problem could be solved wearing toe socks selling.

Doing we could feel. the freedom of toes and stripping them we could meet toes dried-up.

They might be necessary for comfortableness and sanitary of feet.

Bu-t toe socks is expensive due to complex structure and do not have variability yet, and' wearing them, aspect of foot is ugly. and we could not present fashion freely and the procedure of wearing needs trouble-some of the try and error method to insert each toes into their positions.

DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION Above problem could be solved the way to cover or separate only between toes with thimble made of airy textiles and next to wear common socks on them to get uniqueness of-toe socks without using custom toe socks.

Toe thimble is made of textile which does not soak by beads of sweat and has tiny air ways and flexibility and have to be thin so that shape of outside aspect of common socks on toe thimble can not deform geometrically or colorfully.

The claim 1 named"toe thimbles shown in fig. l.

The structure is similar as medical finger stall made of gum.

It is fabricated of Span-Tex (trade mark of material of stocking-) and head (lOl) is reinforced against toenail and cylindrical body (102) and pad (108) coated by adhesive which is attached on instep so that it can not be stripped from toe.

The claim 2 named"toe inner socks"is structured as shown in Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B.

Five toe thimbles are connected each other with flexible plane (303) at other side which ankle band (304) is attached.

I would cultivate the description of th-is invention the state of the art after this PCT request.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Fig. 1 shows toe thimble.

101'is head which is reinforced in order to be able to endure against friction of toenail.

'102'is body like cylinder which makes air leak between toes.

'103'is adhesive pad to be attached on instep so that it can not be stripped from toe of foot.

Fig. 2 shows the usages of toe thimble.

Fig. 2A is side view of foot which toe thimble is worn.

'201'is head of toe thimble against toenail.

'202'is body like cylinder which is worn.

'208'is adhesive pad attached on instep.

'210'is ankle.

Fig. 2B is picture wearing five toe thimble looked down the instep.

Fig. 2C shows sole of foot which five toe thimbles is worn.

Fig. 2D shows one toe thimble into which only fourth toe is inserted so that the gap between 3rd and 4th and the gap between 4th and 5th can be dried up.

Fig. 2E shows Ist toe (thumb) worn in order to prevent outside sock from puncturing by Ist toenail which is most hardest than other commonly.

Fig. 3 shows the toe inner sock which is claim 2 Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B and Fig. 3C shows structure of toe inner sock.

'301'is head of toe thimble.

'302'is cylindrical body of toe thimble.

'303'is plane '304'is ankle band.

'305'shows inlet holes.

Fig. 3D shows picture looked down instep of the foot which toe inner sock is worn Fig. 3E is side view with toe inner sock.

'306'is instep.

'307'is sole of foot.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Fig. 2 shows usages of toe thimble (claim 1).

Fig. 2A shows side view of foot worn by toe thimble.

It will be covered by common socks in order to get the same effect as wearing toe socks with any fashion.

Fig. 2B shows picture of instep of foot which five toe thimbles is worn Fig. 2C shows picture of sole of foot which five thimbles is worn.

It is very tedious that ten all toe thimbles is worn each.

In such a case we could wear the toe inner socks (claim 2).

The problem of drain of beads of sweat between toes increases going to 5th toe progressively.

If whta is problem is sweat between toes, we could wear only one toe thimble on 4th toe of foot as shown in Fig. 2D.

If puncture of socks is problem, we could wear one on 1st toe (thumb) which has most hard toenail than other as shown in Fig2E.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY Medical stall has been used to protect wounded finger from soaking at water work. etc.

It is convenient even out of water in the point of preventing wrapped bandage from loosing instead of expensive mediform (trade mark of new dressing pad).

But it is water-proof, therefore the finger swells out by beads of sweat and reduces the healing speed.

Here this toe thimble could be used conveniently as another kind of finger stall.
