Abstract:
A toilet apparatus 100 capable of separating human excrement, namely feces and urine, by using a simple configuration, the toilet apparatus 100 being equipped with: a toilet bowl 11b having an upper-section opening 11c formed in the upper section thereof, and having a lower-section opening 11d formed in the lower section thereof; and an opening/closing member 20 positioned so as to be capable of moving between an open position for blocking the lower-section opening 11d, and a closed position for opening the lower-section opening 11d. Therein, the opening/closing member 20 has a urine guide unit 22 for guiding urine to the exterior of the toilet bowl 11b, when the opening/closing member 20 is in the closed position.
