The present invention provides a toilet cleaning tool that is entirely disposable while also being strong enough to remove excrement adhering to the inside of a toilet bowl. The toilet cleaning tool for removing excrement adhering to the inside of a toilet bowl comprises a single sheet of water-soluble paper 11 with a substantially rectangular shape, the paper 11 having one or a plurality of first folding lines 111 which run substantially parallel to one side of the paper 11 and which divide the paper into substantially equally spaced sections, a plurality of first folded sections 112 which are the folded sections demarcated by the first folding line(s) 111, and a second folding line 113 provided such that, after the paper 11 is folded up on the basis of the plurality of first folding lines 111 such that the plurality of first folded sections 112 are layered to form a substantially rectangular shape with the long edge substantially parallel to the first folding lines 111, the second folding line 113 is substantially parallel to the long edge and substantially bisects the short edge, the second folding line 113 being a folding line to be used as a reference for folding back the toilet cleaning tool so as to have a substantially L-shaped cross section, and the toilet cleaning tool being configured such that the basis weight of the paper 11 multiplied by the number of the first folded sections 112 is 200-500 g/m2.
