Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2003003890
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to means employed for the acceptable use of toilets. More specifically, the invention relates to a mechanism for lifting toilet lids indirectly and without using the hands. The inventive mechanism is characterised in that it comprises a hydraulic system with two plastic valves, one of said valves being disposed on the ground and the other being disposed below the lower ring- or horseshoe-shaped plastic toilet seat which covers the upper surface of the toilet. Both of said valves are interconnected by means of a high-pressure tube. The valve on the ground takes the form of a circular bag with an upper domed surface which contains a determined quantity of liquid. The valve below the lower ring- or horseshoe-shaped plastic toilet seat takes the form of a cylinder with an internal piston or of an accordion bellows.
