Abstract:
[Problem] To solve problems such as tearing during use or during production of thin sanitary paper sheets for household use that are embossed and coated with an aqueous chemical solution. [Solution] The problem is solved by a toilet paper production method comprising: a chemical solution-applying process wherein an aqueous lotion chemical solution is printed on a continuous creped paper roll with a printing machine in a pattern that forms portions where the chemical solution is not applied and portions where the chemical solution is applied; and an embossing process wherein embossing is performed by pressing the embossing die only on the portions of the continuous creped paper where the chemical solution has not been applied.
