Abstract:
A toilet seat cleaning device capable of effectively cleaning even human wastes, etc. which adhere to the toilet seat and capable of reliably removing in a short period of time water droplets remaining after the cleaning.
A toilet seat cleaning device (10) for cleaning the toilet seat (12) of a western style toilet unit (50) provided with the toilet seat (12) and a toilet seat cover (13). The toilet seat cleaning device (10) comprises: sealing elastic members (14, 15) which make close contact with the outer peripheral edge (12d) of the toilet seat (12) when the toilet seat cover (13) is rotated to a toilet seat closing position; peripheral piping (24) in which ejection holes (25) facing the upper surface (12b) of the toilet seat (12) are formed; and a supply mechanism (30) which selects and supplies to the peripheral piping (24) either high-pressure water to be ejected from the ejection holes (25) toward the upper surface (12b) of the toilet seat (12) or high-pressure air to be ejected from the ejection holes (25) toward the upper surface (12b) of the toilet seat (12). The toilet seat cover (13) and the toilet seat (12) are provided with a sealing assistance mechanism (60) for causing the sealing elastic members, which are provided to the toilet seat cover (13), to make close contact with the toilet seat (12).
