Abstract:
A toilet seat device which attains energy saving by furthermore reducing power consumption when adjusting the temperature of a toilet seat, without damaging comfort of a toilet user.
A control section provided to the toilet seat device controls distribution of power to a heat generator (29) such that in a standby state the temperature of the toilet seat (22) detected by a toilet seat temperature detection means (44) is a predetermined standby temperature and such that when detecting information relating to a user’s intention to seat on the toilet seat (22), the temperature of the toilet seat (22) rises at a predetermined speed from the standby temperature to a temperature higher than the standby temperature and within a seating temperature range wherein seating of the user on the toilet seat (22) is assumed. Furthermore, the distribution of power to the heat generator (29) in the standby state is varied in accordance with the temperature in a toilet room detected by a second temperature detection means (48).
