Abstract:
Provided is a seat rinsing system for rinsing the seat (12) of a Western-style
toilet (1). The system comprises a body (2) disposed near a toilet bowl (11) and
capable of accommodating the seat (12), a holding portion (3) for holding the
seat (12), drive means (5) for reciprocating the holding portion (3) between
the inside and the outside of the body (2), rinsing means disposed in the body (2)
for rinsing the seat (12) accommodated in the body (2), and drain means for draining
the sewage made by the rinsing operations of nozzle boards (4 and 4) of the rinsing
means. As a result, the Western-type toilet can have its seat physically cleared
of the sewage and sterilized or disinfected.
